TWO WAYS TO USE QUINTAX!
- You can register as
a Quintax Authorised User – either by undertaking relevant
training ( e.g. a 2 day course is available), or by applying for training exemption based on your
experience as a tester. This page deals mainly with the different training routes possible.

TRAINING ROUTES TO USE QUINTAX
Based on your experience, there are a four training routes that enable people to become
registered as Quintax Authorised Users – these are
described below. More details can be found at our Quintax Support Website and also
from this website below, and from our Quintax Training

FOR THOSE WITH NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE ...
For those with no prior experience or qualifications in testing
there are two main options.
- The simplest option is to complete our 2
Day Quintax Qualification programme. This is intended for
delegates who wish to become Quintax users and who do not currently
require BPS certification.
- A second option is to complete our 'Test User: Ability programme' (formerly Level A) followed by our 'Test User: Personality' programme (formerly Level B). These
enable delegates to become Quintax qualified while becoming nationally recognised as testers via the British Psychological Society's certificates and Register of Qualifications in Test Use.
FOR THOSE QUALIFIED AS USERS OF ABILITY TESTS...
If you have successfully reached the BPS Test User: Ability standard but
have not yet gone further on the BPS route you can become an Authorised User of Quintax
via our Test User: Personality programme (which also provides registration for a wide range
of other personality measures). Alternatively you could take our
2 day Quintax Qualifying
Course as described above.
FOR THOSE QUALIFIED TO PERSONALITY ASSESSMENT LEVEL...
Those who have successfully attained the BPS Test User: Personality standard described above (or equivalent*) can obtain
Authorised User status by completing a Quintax
Authorised User Registration Form. This form is also an order form for a Quintax
Starter Pack which you must purchase in order to register.. The
Starter Pack contains:
- A Quintax User Guide
- An On-line Account Set-up
- 100 Quintax On-line Units
that can be used to purchase on-line assessments using the
questionnaire. 100 units is enough to assess up to 5 people depending on reports
Taking this route also gives you an option to attend FREE our 1 day optional Quintax
Conversion programme to obtain familiarisation with the
questionnaire. Attendance at the programme is recommended but
not mandatory.
*'Equivalent' in the above is normally taken
to mean having qualified on at least one personality measure
and having used this in a range of contexts in relation to selection
and/or development of people. If in doubt, contact us to see if
your experience and qualifications enable registration.
FOR THOSE QUALIFIED TO PERSONALITY ASSESSMENT LEVEL BUT WHO ALSO WANT TO QUALIFY WITH QUINTAX AS A BPS 'ADDITIONAL INSTRUMENT' ...
Those who hare already qualified at Test User: Ability and Test User: Personality level may attend our 1
day BPS Quintax Conversion Course. This includes a FREE Quintax Starter Pack (as above), together with a portfolio
of exercises for completion and assessment at 'Additional Instrument' level. For this
route, attendance at the 1 day Conversion Course is mandatory.
